Kostiantinivka is located in the eastern part of the country in the Donbas region, close to the front line where intense clashes continue.

The attack came as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was visiting the Ukrainian capital and Washington was expected to announce more than a billion dollars in new American funding as a token of its continued support for Kiev's struggle.
